This one was over from the first pitch. The Kings put up a run before the Whitecaps
could record an out. And they added four more in the second which is all they needed
in the 6-3 win. Great Lakes extended their scoreless streak to 16 innings before taking
on three runs in the sixth. But they never threatened again behind a great combo pitching
performance from John Candelaria, Mike Armstrong, and Goose Gossage.
