and 3 RBI as the Erie Seawolves defeated the Queens Kings by a score of 5 to
4 at The King's Palace.
Erie tallied 2 runs in the 4th inning with the help of 5 hits. Dave Kingman
led off and started the rally when he stroked a one-base hit. Richie Zisk
was next and he grounded into a double play. John Wathan then banged out a
single. Bill Russell followed next and he laced a base-hit. Remy stepped
into the box and slapped a one-base hit resulting in a run. Al Bumbry kept
the inning going and ripped a single scoring the final run of the inning.
Queens had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Norris(1-0) got the victory, allowing 4 runs for the game. Nolan Ryan(0-1)
