Rangers beat the Queens Kings 8 to 1.
Fred Lynn provided much of the offense. He caught a hold of a fastball for a
Grand Slam homerun in the 3rd inning and doubled in the 5th inning. Texas
had 10 hits overall, while Queens had 3.
Langford(2-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 6 innings. Bruce
Kison recorded the save, his 1st. Geoff Zahn(0-1) ended up with the loss.
