Hank Aaron slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Los Angeles Angels
outscored the Michigan Blue Jackets 12 to 5.
Aaron was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at
their team's expense. He delivered a solo blast in the 4th inning and popped
a two-run clout over the fence (his 4th of the season) in the 8th inning.
Michigan was out-hit by Los Angeles, 14 hits to 10.
Steve Hargan(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing
5 runs. Fritz Peterson(0-2) ended up with the loss. By giving up 7 runs in 1
inning his ERA increased from 4.50 to 12.86.
