Left fielder Bo Jackson homered and had 3 RBI as the Chicago Fire rallied
impressively to win in dramatic style over Columbus Redbirds, 7 to 6.
Chicago came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 9th inning scoring 2
runs.  After two were out Steve Balboni opened up the rally as he drew a
walk.  Dave Winfield stepped up next and he cracked a two-run shot.  Chicago
rapped out 11 hits for the night.  
Bryan Harvey went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Bruce Hurst
suffered the loss in relief. He allowed 2 hits and 1 walk in 1 and 1/3 innings.
